VIP Zone Added to InsurancePen

Welcome to the VIP Zone!

This is a new area added to InsurancePen to serve two important purposes.  

The first goal was to give consumers who want professionals to organize their insurance purchases and keep them informed of deals that are available in the marketplace.  A lot of consumers know insurance is a big part of their monthly bills, and an important item to keep up-to-date.

Facebook Connect Combined with Facebook Advertising

InsurancePen is launching an advertising campaign on Facebook to coordinate efforts to grow a Facebook and other social networking users buying group.

InsurancePen announced this as a logical first step into personal auto insurance marketing.  "InsurancePen allows users to join with their Facebook account, so we think it will be easy for them to assemble into a buying group of social networking users on our site", said Craig DeRoche of DeRoches LLC.

New "How-To" Videos Posted in the Information Forum

InsurancePen has posted five new videos in our "Information" section that can be accessed directly from the website menubar.  

The intention of posting these videos is to give an overview to new users, new agents and other visitors on how the site works.

Insurance Agents Can Now Create Their Own Listings at InsurancePen

Great news for insurance agents!  InsurancePen is announcing that insurance agents can now create their own agency listings in our groups effective immediately.

Why is this important you may ask?  Well first off, many agents have a static web presence.  Essentially a business card or yellow page listing on the internet.  This was great ten years ago, but things are changing at an incredible pace.

Business Insurance Groups to be Added

InsurancePen.com announced that it will launch dozens of new commercial insurance groups in preparation for the New Year.  

The groups are designed to attract members for insurance coverage and classes of business where insurance carriers have indicate an eagerness to be competitive in 2010.

"This is going to be a good year for our consumers", said Craig DeRoche of DeRoches LLC.  "Insurance carriers are well positioned to compete and most businesses are going to send their insurance coverage out for new proposals because of the economy", he continued.

Login With Facebook

New users can now login to InsurancePen.com using their Facebook accounts!  this module was added to our offering to combine the networking power of Facebook with the InsurancePen.com insurance technologies.

It is also likely that our new users for both business insurance and personal insurance needs will find it easier to network with their friends, family or business associates.

Health Insurance Offering to Expand to Additional Lines of Coverage

InsurancePen is pleased to announce that additional lines of insurance coverage will be added to the health-insurance questionnaire.

Effective December 4, 2009 InsurancePen will offer online done so, short-term disability, long term disability and group life insurance applications within the health insurance application section. This change will apply to business health insurance applications as well as public entity in government health insurance applications.

InsurancePen has set Monday, November 11, 2009 for our official launch. 

We hope to bring many customers to the website for the simple purpose of grouping together to buy insurance for better prices and terms than individuals are offered.
